    **starts**

    AWESOME weather!

The summers suck huge donkey balls, but you can stay inside A/C for 4 months when the payoff is eight months of sweetness!

I got nothing. When you're right, you're right. As long as you don't live in a high crime ghetto.

Yeah, it's not bad. I live in a subdivision where 60% of the homes have canal access out to old Tampa Bay, but I'm not one of them. We do have a public boat launch, though.

The best thing is that there are only like two ways in and out, so not a lot of through traffic.

How can anyone not like a cold and snowy winter? I need four brutally different seasons.

People from NJ do the same thing. I think there is a alledged cultural difference between the two.

north florida, the panhandle is actually populated with southerners, the rest of the state is not considered part of the south.

This entire state is almost totally bereft of culture, save for what might be growing in hospital labs. I did say it, xyster...try reading more better. ;)

And there is a fucking huge difference in Florida winters, depending on whether you live in South Florida or near the panhandle. If you're moving to Florida for the weather, you need to be around Tampa or below, which is considered South Florida; otherwise, you might as well live in Atlanta.

I can appreciate that BR, but I grew up right on Lake Ontario, and I've had my fill of snow. Lake-effect snowstorms are the worst.

Before I moved here, my brother said to me, "Florida is a magnet for every dirt-bag on the Eastern seaboard." Jezus, he was right about that one.
