Frat throws "MLK Blackout Party"
this is what they wore:
I don't get it...
they brought watermelons
PHOENIX, Arizona (PIX11) – An Arizona State University fraternity has been suspended after pictures of an “MLK party” they threw, showing students holding watermelon cups and dressed in gang attire, were posted to social media over the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday weekend.
The “MLK Black Party” was organized by members of ASU’s chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, according to The Phoenix New Times. Pictures of the unsanctioned event were posted on Instagram.

urban American lovers, Robin?
What? No black face? Fail....
watermelon lover is one of the nicest things you can say to a black person, Robin.
howard would be pleased these fine youths made a party in MLK's honor.
The wiggers dress that way anyway, don't they?

How stupid is it to suspend a whole fraternity chapter for a party at an off-campus location...one in which no one got hurt or arrested. It's not like some kid died of AI or hazing put someone in the hospital.
According to Howard aren't they just Reggie lovers showing their appreciation of black culture and honoring dr king.
Of course it was kind of a douchey thing to do but there is nothing overltly racist in those pictures and as long as they weren't going out and antagonizing, bothering, or in any way harming the black kids at the students why even waste time getting offended (which i'm sure people will).
As a spic I don't get offended on cinco de mayo when all the white people in my area put on sombreros and down tequila (in fact i support it)
But this was ok??
Parents, across the country, considering schools for their kids, angrily scratch out Arizona State University...
If it weren't for the watermelons I bet no one would have noticed.
Nothing is douchier and more annoying than frat boys thinking that they're funny or edgy by dressing up like gangstas.
