its on the news so there will be more films:
Some places have shity little fireworks shows, but NYC shot down a fighter plane for Memorial Day! Suck it!
It's not like you can see him crash.

Thanks. I never would have made the connection.
three planes were flying low over the river. two pulled up and the other went swimming, outside my window...

its everywhere now.
Damn shame, that was a beautiful plane
y. i thought they kept those things in perfect working order especially when they are taking them out for holiday celebrations. its not unusual for planes to fly very low over there normally: the ospreys are regularly patrolling 20' or so over the water during the summer evening rush. i suppose the pilot couldn't keep the plane up once it skipped on the surface and went nose in? maybe this explains how all those planes disappeared over the bermuda triangle during the wars.
the pilot was unable to exit the plane even after he opened the cockpit; they recovered his body about 5 hours later. i suppose the plan wreckage will be recovered sometime next week: he didn't go down in an especially deep part of the river and the dredges were already out in that area cleaning up the muck for this year's summer season so they just have to drop the crane with a couple of divers to hook it and bring it to the surface.
P47 are the heaviest fighter from that era...almost indestructable...I guess they aint made for dipping low like that. It was primarily used as a ground attack plane after the Mustang came out
