http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...issing-10-years-found-alive-article-1.1336639 Two women who vanished about a decade ago when they were teenagers were miraculously found alive Monday inside a home in Cleveland, along with a third missing woman, authorities said. Amanda Berry, who was missing for a decade and is now 27, and Gina DeJesus, who disappeared nine years ago and is now 23, were rescued after a neighbor heard Berry’s pleas for help coming from inside the home. “I heard screaming ... and I see this girl going nuts trying to get outside,†said neighbor Charles Ramsey, who rescued women. “I go on the porch and she said ‘Help me get out! I’ve been here a long time!’†Ramsey said he kicked open the locked door. “She says, ‘Call 911! My name is Amanda Berry!’†Ramsey recalled. He said a young girl, who appeared to be about 5 years old, was with Berry and that there were other children in the house. Michelle Knight, 32, who went missing 12 years ago, was also found inside. When cops arrived, Berry told them she had been held captive in the residence Police said a man was taken into custody. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that the man apprehended is Ariel Castro, 52, who has lived in the home since 1992. The paper reported Castro is the owner of the home. Authorities are planning a press conference for Tuesday. Further details surrounding the circumstances of the women’s ordeals were not made public. Berry disappeared on April 21, 2003, a day before her 17th birthday, after calling her sister to say she was getting a ride home from her job at a Cleveland Burger King. DeJesus was 14 when she vanished while walking home from school on April 2, 2004. “We have many unanswered questions regarding this case and the investigation will be ongoing,†said Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson. “I am thankful that these three young ladies are found and alive.†The women were being examined at a hospital Monday night.
