he might go down in history as the biggest downfall as an athlete. Unless he goes low Friday, he will miss the cut again.

He was the best thing that ever happened to golf.

wish he would retire and bow out now. He will never catch these 20 something year olds.......

I didn't realize how old he is now. No way it's happening again for him.

When Tiger was at the top of his game he was the only horse in the race

TV wanted to make Mickelson his rival but it was never even close. Today it's more exciting with the young stars because there is a rivalry going on between the top five.

I wish I had a career where I was finished at 36 and had to bow out gracefully with $500Million +++ so I could focus on banging hotties.

He will be going 9 deep on some skank waitress in a Perkins bathroom instead of making the cut and playing this weekend

I think the rivalry thing started because they both started winning so young. Phil was popular as "Phil The Thrill", Tiger was all business. You couldn't cheer for both.

There was no rivalry. To have a rivalry you have to be as good as the other guy. Phil was good but he was no tiger.

I meant the TV rivalry. Els and Phil couldn't handle Tiger coming on tour.

Woods might have a shot to win again at Augusta, not so much at any of the other Majors.

I thought that golf was one of those sports that you actually got better at as you aged. I know that there is a reason for the senior tour, and that he probably has a lot of things on his mind, but shouldn't he technically be getting better? I only ask because of the 'younger guys in there 20s' comment. Serious question as I don't play (anymore) or follow golf all that much. I did grow up and play against D.A. Points, though.

Usually the back or knees go from the "power". I'm not sure if these 20 something's will be playing in 20 years.

The equipment today is better than it's ever been. That's a game changer.
Tigers body has been breaking down for the last five years.........that has to be an issue

Right on. At 36, though, he should still be dominant , right? Or is he like Tin Cup because of his woman problems? The Shanks
