    OJ SIMPSON
BURIED KNIFE FOUND AT OJ'S ESTATE

    3/4/16 3:00 AM PST

A construction worker found a knife buried on the perimeter of the former OJ Simpson estate ... and it's currently being tested by the LAPD in a top secret investigation ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

The story is incredible. We're told a construction worker found the knife years ago -- we have heard several different stories, ranging from "several years ago" to 1998, when the house was demolished.

Wasn't the rumor that Kardashian disposed of it? I'm not an OJ case expert so I don't know the timeline.

Of course it was buried on his property, the guy who was wearing the gloves buried it there to frame juice.

I'd think if you were hasty, all you would have to do is pound it into the ground shaft first with your foot, put your weight on it and then kick existing dirt over it. Depending on the location, it would be easy to overlook. Unfortunately even if it proves to be the murder weapon, double jeopardy keeps OJ from being retried. The theory that it was his son Jason who did the actual killing might be another story entirely if there's any forensic evidence to be reclaimed after all those years in the dirt that would indicate he touched it...

Surely, matching the knife's blade's irregularities with the slashes on the bodies of Ron and Nicole could conclusively connect the dots in establishing whether it's indeed the murder weapon.

    This!

I know that the F.B.I. and big city crime labs have perfected the ability to identify knife edges or cutting blades/saws IF they leave a mark on bone. I know during the trial, they said Nicole's neck was so aggressively cut, she was almost decapitated if not for her neck bones. If one was marked, then it's "possible" if the bone evidence was preserved. I seriously doubt any DNA would have been preserved like prints, blood, or hair if this was exposed to wet dirt, unless it was wrapped in something and even that is a huge stretch because the chain of custody.

The only way he could be retried if there were hung counts and I don't recall if there were??

The Jason Simpson as a the murderer theory is just internet junk. I was listening to a podcast with Jeffrey Toobin the other day and he said there is ZERO evidence that even suggests Jason was the killer and there was no motive either (than twisted logic by Internet theorists). Toobin is the the most knowledgable expert on this crime and trial and called out the Internet conspiracy theorists who don't have a clue. In fact, Toobin was able to get information for his book (which the FX series is based) that Cochran, Shapiro, Bailey, and the rest of the Dream Team all knew OJ was the murderer.
