Some people say I caught a bad break but when you get a chance to interview assholes like Greg Popovich, Tom Thibodeau and Stan Van Gundy then I consider myself the luckiest man in the world.
Yeah those guys are major picks to interview
Yeah, I know there is a lot of money involved in the NBA (and I'm watching at playoff time just like many), but there is a lot of shit that could happen in the future that renders professional sports irrelevant. Fuckers like Pops need to lighten up, it is just a sport. I like Sager's attitude. Best of luck to him.
he's got a couple younger kids i'm pretty sure
too lazy to look it up
That's a shame. Rip funny suitman. Good positive attitude... Hopefully he makes it through
We all get our ticket punched eventually. That disease in particular is a scary way to go but I believe there are lessons to be learned in everything we go through right up until our final breath. Who we are, what we do, the mistakes we make, the lessons we learn or don't learn from our mistakes or triumphs determines what kind of angel we'll be in the afterlife. We should keep this in mind everyday in everything we say or do.
Have they determined if the suits and the disease were connected?
I would take up heroin, and cheeseburgers....
Does Artie have leukemia?
Yes, I heard he's walking to St. Louis to receive some medical care.
Sue his suit manufacturers - all those crazy colors must not be good for you.
too bad but nobody should be surprised if you've been keeping tabs the past few years
sad stuff, cant remember him not doing the sideline interviews with those goofy ass ties
will be missed
About to die doing what he loved
I have no idea who this dude is.
Stay strong funny suit guy, I hope you get better.
You are correct. He has 3 older kids from his first marriage and two kids with his second wife. She was a Chicago Bulls dancer and is 20 years younger than him.
Speaking of Popovich, the hypocrisy of that fucking guy is off the charts. He talks about the purity of the game, fair play and all of those types of things. He complains more than anyone about bad calls. He has taken issue with perceived cheap shots to his players.
The 2005 Finals between the Pistons and Spurs went the Spurs way for two major reasons -
Ben and Rasheed Wallace needed to recharge after going seven games against Shaq. After the first two games they got the rest and the Pistons were clearly the superior team. Secondly, Ginoboli, Parker, Horry, and Bowen put on one major fucking flopathon. Every god damned game. Game 7 saw Billups, both Wallaces and McDyess on the bench with foul trouble. Tim Duncan (who had been getting bottled the fuck up against the Wallace's) went off late in the third quarter when he was being covered by 190 pound SF Tayshaun Prince.
"Pop" has coached the biggest collection of dive taking, injury faking pussies of the past 15 years. And this guy has the nerve to talk about purity of the game. Fuck him and his ugly hemorrhoid face.
Always liked Sager. Keep fighting, sir.
Once I got past the suits- well, I really never have gotten over them- I could feel his enthusiasm and started to like him when he'd interview the guys or just be talking. Sorry he so ill. He looks terrible in the picture. Hope his journey is not going to be a world of pain.
Look at that, real talk on dawgshed. Pleased to meet you old stern fan.
