To vitamin or not to vitamin?

    These things are so freakin expensive. You always hearbyou should take them, but you also hear they are pointless and it all gets peed out anyhow. Anyone take vitamins and if so, which ones?

    I like the Hulk Hogan kind of vitamins. But you have to train hard and say your prayers to get those 24" pythons.

    I take 4000mg omega 3 ( two in the morning, two at night) a 82mg baby aspirin ( If you're 40 and above, everybody should) and a men's multi vitamin. The multi I grind up with my morning juice. Since grinding the vitamin up, I feel fantastic. I take the omega 3 to manage cholesterol, skip that part , if this isn't an issue for you.

    Just eat good veg and fruit. More vitamins in there than any pill. Most pills you will piss out anyway. Huge waste of marbles

    Agreed on the veg and fruit, but when taking a supplement, you don't piss out the vitamins, you shit them out because they don't have enough time to be digested. Veg and fruit PLUS a multi vitamin grinded into a morning juice? Fantastic. I've never felt better. Try it, it's awesome.

    I heard it's a waste of money, but I still take vitamins (nature made over 50 for men) and also prilosec, fish oil, glucosomine chondroiten I know I spelled the last two wrong. Don't care.

    Guys, do some research and find out where your vitamins are made.
    Most these days, Nature Made for example, are made in China so you are not only not getting what you paid for, but also of getting toxic materials in your vitamins as well. The Chinese take great delight in poisoning us slowly.

    Never taken multi vitamins my entire life and I've never had any deficiencies. I just eat lots of different fruits and vegetables. I have friends who are picky eaters though and I would assume they should be on vitamins as they don't eat hardly any vegetables and no fruit.

    Taking that much omega3 on top of aspirin you run the risk of internal bleeding as your blood wont clot well.
    Try taking 1000 mg of straight niacin (not niacinamide the slow release kind that damages your liver) before bed.
    This will completely change your hdl/ldl ratio. (you will get used to the red faced flushing and barely notice it after a while).

    most vitamins are a scam. Take a regular muti-vitamin if you want, buy them at Walgreens when theyre half-price, which is often. People do get deficient in D3 if they are not getting enough sun, or are getting older. its common to doctors to recommend 1000-5000 iu per day for that. Wigtard was talking about his taking D3 last week

    Men' Multivitamin, omega 3 fish oil pills (with DHA,and EPA), vitamin D3 5,000iu, Creatine, Full strength aspirin as needed for my blue collar prole manual labor job.
