    .....on Sirius

Did they do the town hall already?
    Howard suddenly loves Petty.
Will he get him on the Stern show....if Howard is ever live again?

TP was the rock artist that flat out rejected being interviewed by Howard even though Howard has interviewed much bigger rock stars according to Humble MonkeyPie

they have not said who will host the townhall yet maybe they will just get someone whos avail like jerry lewis
or maybe Tom will just talk to fans directly he is pretty laid back

the channel is great cant wait to see him live

yeah he is in a surf rock band on the side. The tracks I heard from Petty's new album sound really void of guitar, strange but I could have just heard the wrong tracks.
I am pretty sure TP is the guy BabaBooey said "flat out rejected" coming in for an interview with Howard.

Tom Petty really is the polar opposite of Stern. He took on his record label years ago when they wanted to increase the price of his Hard Promises record by a dollar. He keeps his concert tickets at a rate significantly below the norm. Oh, and I should mention that every project he puts out continues to blow away everything else, including his new record!

    Tom Petty fucking rocks!

I stumbled on Petty's radio show a while back. They were playing a bunch of episodes in a row.

    It was surprisingly good.

buried treasure is one of the best shows on sirius...i always end up liking prob 90% of the songs on his show even tho the variety spans everything from hard rock to old blues, country ,etc.. howard tried to goof on it like he did with the bob dylan show and wig's goofing fell totally flat. he said something like "the songs he plays...you never heard of em in your life!" yeah no shit thats the fucking point of it
