    Anyone watched it?

Incredible cinematography as always, and the news section was hilarious. Good guests this week, too.

Yeah, I don't get that, as most people here are dudes. And hell, I know a lot of women who like the show, too. It's great comedy.

The just put up the trailer for episode 5:

Will Smith comes across as incredibly smug and phony. Margot Robbie...wow, beautiful and seemed pretty humble, and she thankfully got the better time than Captain Operating Thetan.

I was really impressed with the i8 segment until Jeremy revealed he only got about 30 mpg out of it.

Yeah I wonder if that's because he was constantly driving with the hammer down, or if BMW was doing some serious number fudging.

He did say that it appears to be a common issue from what he has read on the internet.

Always a great show. My girlfriend watched it begrudgingly initially but is a fan now.

The reason not many dudes here watch is because they are a bunch of hipster softies. @dinkus mayhem

Yeah, I noticed that, too. I always thought he was a cool, genuine guy. Clarkson busted his balls a little, and you could tell he wasn't used to that.

I have nothing bad to say about Margot Robbie. Loved her in Wolf of Wallstreet, and seemed like a totally cool chick.

    And ooofffaaaaaahhhh

It really seems like a prototype performance hybrid. The comparison with early laptops was pretty dead-on, I think.

The only reason why Tesla is the only electric vehicle that's actually practical, is because it has an enormous battery pack. The BMW i8 has a 7.1 kWh battery, and the other electric vehicles generally hover around that amount, too. A Tesla has 85 kWh. Quite the difference.

I remember Clarkson saying that they average 1-4 miles to the gallon when they trash those supercars around and push them to their limit. If you drive with a lead foot, you're always going to burn a lot of fuel.

That said, I don't think the BMW i8 is geared towards being economical. It's a hybrid sports car that's mostly designed to go fast. Let's begin honest here.

I was also impressed by the M4, by the way. The engine they put in that thing is very impressive, as well. Old fashioned engines also still get better every year.

That was great. Shame those cars had to be left behind because a bunch of retards were still butthurt about losing a war that they started :jj:

All the specials have been stellar. I liked the last Africa special, too. The very first America special was also pretty epic. Especially the part where they get chased out of a town by a bunch of angry rednecks.

That Lotus was such a champ, unreal considering how those things loved spending time getting fixed for one thing or another.

Most watched show on television. It gets over 350 million viewers worldwide. It has made the BBC a lot of money, so they keep on going. Their budget is over a million pounds per episode at this point. No car show comes even close to it in terms of production value, humor and overall quality. The cinematography is amazing and they get to do unique stuff.

A couple of weeks ago they pretty much destroyed a brand new Bentley Continental GT, a BMW M6, and a Nissan GTR by driving the shit out of them through the Australian outback and racing with them through a quarry. Each car lost over half their value by the end of the episode from the excessive wear and damage. What other car show gets to do that kind of shit?

A lot of people who don't like cars also like the show. Give it a try.
