Thats a great idea supposedly tickets are attached to the person who won or given. So you could make some bank on that weekend

Don't know if it's real or not, but I did see on ESPN that the after-market for this year's Superbowl is dropping due to the weather forecast.

You have to understand the Superbowl ticket crowd. Not a lot of hardcore fans. Tons of rich people there to see and be seen, and they don't give much of a shit about the game itself. With possibilities of wind chill in the teens or lower, those folks are losing interest.

I agree with sportswriter Jason Whitlock and many others. An outdoor Superbowl in New York is a horrendously bad idea. This will likely be the last outdoor cold weather Superbowl we see in our lifetimes.

Read an article today saying the same thing. It added that there are plenty of hotel rooms in the city also.

NFL refuses to give Miami another Super Bowl til the Fins build a roof, yet they have a frozen NY Super Bowl  Had the SB been in Miami this year, it would have been around 60 degrees. Plenty of people looking to piss their money down here, too.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross offered to fix up bayside with yachts with football fields. hanglides, and nightclubs on them turning the entire area into a weekend SB party. They lost out to SF, which is understandable, but I don't see why we couldn't have had this years SB.. I bet after this catastrophe, Goodell will be reconsidering his stance on S. Fla Super Bowls.

It is all about the mara's and woody Johnson crying for it. The other owners should charge back those two clown owners if there are any losses attached to this Super Bowl.

i guarantee it was part of the met life stadium agreement. i even heard something like Goodell owed the Mara's, Tisch's and Johnson's one for using their own money + PSL's to build the stadium.
