"They got the idea from me, Robin, when I had them play Led Zep cover songs on my show."

Train announces Led Zeppelin cover album

It’s difficult to hear the wistful piano of “Drops of Jupiter” or the easygoing ukulele of “Hey Soul Sister” and be reminded of Jimmy Page’s overpowering guitar, and yet according to Train, Led Zeppelin is one of their biggest musical influences. To prove it, the band announced on Thursday that they will be covering Led Zeppelin II in full.

Is "covering" what we're calling "plagiarizing" now?

Oh, for crying out loud. Why? It's great to add to the live show, but is anyone really asking themselves when Train is going to record Zep II?

While they are at it, why not do a cover of "Yesterday" because, you know, it demands the 10,000th treatment.

"Train, occasional holders of the Worst Band In The World title, are releasing a full-album cover of Led Zeppelin’s classic 1969 sophomore effort II. Sacrilegious, blasphemous, laughable, shameful, befuddling…none of these words begin to accurately describe how much of a steaming pile of horse shit this idea is."

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I actually thought they did a pretty good job covering zepplin when i heard them on the show.

And you know howard is having the interns go through every one of his interviews with that dude trying to find howard suggesting, "You guys are so good at led zepplin, you should do a cover album!"

    Hello lawsuit!
