Anybody ever manually do this? Meaning the store you bought it from didn't do it for you?

I want to do it via iTunes. It asks if you want to update all apps, I click YES and it only backs up a select few.

you can pull your apps down to your phone from the cloud. Just go to the App store, click on purchased and click the little cloud icon next to the app. Should download and install on your new phone.
