You have no idea how hard that was for me to type.
Probably just as hard, as it was for me to read it.
more informed yes. responsible not always. no one is richer than Wiggy and his views on politics are a fucking cluster fuck. Robin too.
Voting only benefits the rich anyway.
I have NYC weed and I am very high. Please be nice.
They are both conflicted.
I tried to edit and then I realized that was way too complicated.
One could lose faith in this country living in NYC. Strange place.
I'm not sure seeing the tourist sites of the world gives one a ton of insight into the complexities of the world.
Then again, I've been to Epcot and I'm pretty smart about that shit.
NY'ers are better voters. The world comes to them. They know the people of every third world hellhole on earth are like. They live in the next apartment over and play loud music all night.
okay, I would love to talk about that. Do they know?
I don't know how all those Chinese are living on the next block?
This is some fucking thread.....
well I really just wanted to post in the Game of Thrones thread and I can't find it.
I wish that Whatsit would post more in this thread.
I agree with that, to an extent.
The reason I stopped claiming to be pro-democracy years ago is because I realized that most people are complete idiots and, unless you're a felon, you can vote regardless of how dumb and uninformed you are.
I don't think travelling automatically makes people more informed, but the people who are interested in seeing other places and how they work is probably more likely to actually think about how this country works and respond accordingly.
Nothing frightens me more than a "passionate" voter who can't even say what the candidate that they're voting for wants to accomplish.
