What a shit show. They had to special order in lenses for me to try (never tried contacts before in my life) and it was a utter failure. Took me 20min to get them in and another hour to remove them all on my own. Finally I just gave up and made the woman remove the one from my left eye.

Did anyone else have this much of a problem when first learning to use these little fucking devil discs?

No, but have had them for years and years. I think you just have resolve that you are going to touch your eye, which seems weird at first. But once you get over that, its not so bad.

Key is to make sure its not inverted/upside down when its sitting on your finger. It should look like a perfect half-sphere. If it looks undulated, its been inverted and that will be very painful going in your eye.

She showed me that. But fuck me once that fucker touches my eye I blink and it flips off my finger etc.

And removing was a mess. It was as if it was glued to my eye

They're easy to put in for me; a pain in the ass to take out.

Been wearing them for years now. Took awhile to get the right fit, but now I don't even notice them until after about 5 weeks of daily use for around ten hours a day. When they are fresh, I sometimes have to feel my eye to see if they are actually in. But when you first try them, they feel very foreign and like they are not for you. But I hate wearing glasses, except in the sun, that's different.

I get them out by sliding them to the corner of my eye.

It takes a bit to get used to them but it's worth it. Daily disposable lenses are the way to go, and keep some Visine handy.

How are you able to bend your arm over your massive biceps to reach your face?

They use lasers, and it takes 10 minutes. No pain during the procedure, but I'm not going to lie, for the 3 hours after it's over it hurts like a motherfucker. Then you have perfect vision, so it's worth it.
