Hello lovelies, This meal was inspired by the very talented cook/chef Blackened. He made some awesome looking kebobs a few days back, so I pulled out one of my old standards from the personal recipe box. I think I could eat this once a week, if not twice... On Tonight's Menu: Chicken & Vegetable Kebobs with Hummus & Baba Ganoush - Grilled, Marinaded Chicken, Grilled Garlic Cloves & Red Bell Pepper, Homemade Hummus, Homemade Baba Ganoush, Homemade Pita Chips, & Soft Whole Wheat Pita... ...and this track is dedicated to the new episode and season of the very funny show "Eastbound & Down" which I watched last night. The show has very good music as witnessed by the song in the season three opening scene which I'm featuring as tonight's track. The band is The Stooges the track is from one of/if not the best and most influential Proto Punk albums ever "Funhouse" and its called "Down On the Street": Talk about your food or your music and don't spoil plot points of the new season for anyone, please. Hopefully everyone is doing well and getting along. Have a wonderful evening!
Not really. Chicken was cut up and marinaded the night before I chopped up the eggplant and threw it in the oven to roast along with the chips While that was baking, I fired up the grill and chopped the vegetables and assembled the skewers After pulling the chips and eggplant out of the oven I threw the kebobs on the grill While they were grilling, I made the Baba Ganoush and the Hummus in the food processor By the time I made those two things, the kebobs were finished and everything was ready to serve It took 30 minutes, 45 tops. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not for me, but I don't have kids, so I may have more free time on my hands to invest that much time into making dinner. I like doing it as well. I made the joke a little while back that I was going to start referring to him as "Slam Piece" instead of "Sweetie" since so many people called me lame.

pork loin cut up into 1" chuncks sauteed with some onion, bell pepper, garlic and butter mixed with some broad noodles. Very simple but tasty. Loves me some metal riffs
