a teaser/trailer. yes, this summer.
great show!!! that and cant wait for another season of Ray Donavon!
looks like shit
Can't wait to see Vince Vaughn's bloated face this season
Pretty tough to follow the first season as it was damn near perfect. I wonder if this one will be as dark. Can't wait to find out. Although that means the end of Game of Thrones season.
First season was great except for the ending. It was weak.
For some reason I think Vince Vaughn will pull this off.
I agree. I was so wrapped up in the show the whole season and I could not believe how underwhelming and cringeworthy the finale was. Almost made me not want to tune in for season 2 because I was so annoyed by that ending.
I really liked season one, but my primary gripe was that the good guys and bad guys were clearly defined. The show would have made my head explode if Matthew McConaughey's character was the killer, but the writers just kind of played it safe.
True Detective and the documentaries, like "Going Clear", are pretty much the only reason why I haven't dropped HBO
I liked season one, a lot.
This one looks interesting just from the trailer.
I didn't know the chick from Mean Girls was on it this season.
I had heard or read that Rick Springfield was going to be part of season two, but he didn't appear in that trailer. Maybe it's a small part, or maybe I'm incorrect. I've always thought he was a cool dude, though
in remembrance of season 1:
best tv show tit scene ever (so very NSFW): http://www.joblo.com/videos/movie-clips/daddario-nude-true-detective
The show will not be the same without Alexandria Daddario. I have no idea how many time I watched that scene...or how many millions of my unborn children lost their lives to it
Looks like he quit the booze. He is much slimmer.
I enjoyed season 1, but honestly, other than some vague child abuse thing, I can't remember how it ended.
I loved season 1. First couple episodes dragged on a little slow. But once it got going I was hooked.
Is this season supposed to connect to the character/plot of S1 in any way?
Agreed, they set a tone and set the mark so high, everyone will try to compare this new season to last season. What I hope is that the producers just don't take the template and scripts and sort of rearrange the story line and we see the same acting and drama from different faces.
I don't think so, new cast and new plot i read
