Colin Farrell was actually really good. The season sucked but I think he’s actually a pretty good actor.

    For whatever its worth....
    1980.
    1990.
2015....somewhat reliable and commonplace DNA testing.

I have plenty of possible theories....coming from all sorts of angles.
...but until we are provided with additional related information...most theories are
    just wild speculations.

There are still too many unknowns amongst their knowns.

Bet the mom and daughter shacked up in Vegas for a bit. Mom’s life sometime before her OD death was a mystery.

Great catch on that not being her dad.

Great catch on the chicken girlfriend. Her interest was piqued at the dinner table in 90.

You guys saw the Yellow King investigation website on the hot chick true crime tv host’s laptop?? I like that both seasons 1 and 3 happen in the same “world”.

Right now every fucking body is involved, and I don’t like that. Thin the herd out DT3.

I'm watching now. The previous week's cliff-hanger ending was fantastic for building suspense, but the payoff gun fight was kinda anticlimactic because I wasn't sill in the moment a whole week later. It may have been better to have shown the gun fight last week.

This show is really great. I just hope the finale doesn't shit the bed like the season 1 finale.

I think the TV show "Lost" was the first I remember that really utilized flash-backs/forwards very effectively, but then kinda went off the rails with the flash-sideways. But this season of True Detective I think is the greatest utilization of time flashes that I have ever seen.

    Called the paper scraps/peephole communication.

Also, in ep 4 Woodard and Harris appear along w the VietCong in Haye’s delirium of the dead he’s killed.
He touches Harris and says, “sorry” before looking out the window of his study at the car he thinks is watching him.

The gardner shown makihg noise tonight in ep 6 as Amelia interviewed the runaway girl might be a clue to Julie Purcell’s whereabouts.

Call me crazy, but I'm wondering if the woman interviewing Old Man Hays could be Julie... The picture that Amelia showed the nun of young Julie just reminded me of that woman... The eyes especially :dontknow:

I think the DA worked with the owner of the poultry plant and corrupt cops to get kids to rich people for their use. In this case the owner of the poultry plant. The mom wouldn’t sell her daughter so the owner of the plant worked with the corrupt dudes to get what he wanted.
That’s why the cop got a job in the plant too.
    That’s my take

In real life and a major plot reveal in season 2:

The California bullet train from LA to SF is getting axed due to an audit and being over budget in the billions.

Looks like the good guys won (indirectly) in Season 2....lol
