Donald Trump Claims $10 Billion Net Worth After Filing Election Forms
    Zeke J Miller
    3:19 PM ET

Business mogul Donald Trump claimed a personal net worth of over $10 billion after filing a personal financial disclosure form with the Federal Election Commission, a key procedural hurdle for his presidential campaign.

The filing clears the way for Trump to appear on the first GOP debate stage on Aug. 6 in Cleveland, and comes as he has risen to the top of polls of Republican voters. Trump reported earning more than $362 million in 2014, according to his campaign — dwarfing the rest of the GOP field’s net worth by a significant margin.

In typical Trump fashion, the campaign released a statement full of braggadocio to commemorate the occasion.

“This report was not designed for a man of Mr. Trump’s massive wealth,” his campaign said “For instance, they have boxes once a certain number is reached that simply state $50 million or more. Many of these boxes have been checked. As an example, if a building owned by Mr. Trump is worth $1.5 billion, the box checked is “$50,000,000 or more.”

The filing reportedly shows that Trump is affiliated with nearly “500 business entities of which 91% are owned 100% by him.” According to his campaign, he earned $213,606,575 during the 14 seasons of The Apprentice, the NBC reality show which was renewed in May without Trump’s participation.

He's got so much money he could pay off 0.1% of the debt Obama's added to our country himself

Democrats that rail against Citizens United should be pleased that Trump is running on his own money. Obama was bought and paid for by Wall Street money, that's why he and Eric Holder gave the banksters and fraudsters that sunk our economy a "stay out of jail" pass.

This guy is just plain adorable. His dad can beat up your dad, too. ...well, unless your dad is a drug cartel leader. We gotta be reasonable here. If he declares a 5th chapter 11 bankruptcy for "negotiation purposes" he might be able to bump that total to 11 billion. God bless America.

I'll give it to him, I thought he would have bowed out before he had to submit financial disclosures.

I glad he is going to be at the debate. It will be MUST SEE TV. All the other candidates look like people who were or should have been bullied as kids, its fun to watch those kinds of losers have to face a bully without help.
It's also interesting because all of the other candidates are pandering to the consciousness that Trump represents, so it will be impossible for them to put him down or differentiate themselves from him, other to show that they are weaker and paper thin fakes.
Unfortunately, all the other GOP candidates are just in it for their rich benefactors, book deals, higher speaking fees and a TV job so there will not be any leaders or statesmen to challenge Trump. The only way they can win this is if all the GOP candidates UNIONIZE and have Rens Prebus tell Trump if he goes easy on them and toes a cum-by-yay GOP narrative that they will award him with delegates at the convention or a guaranteed VP position, no matter who is the front runner down the road. Of course they will double cross him.

Maybe Jeb Bush is the only one with closest thing statesman mindset, but that's just because he from the #1 blueblood yankee family here--when he was governor in Florida he was a 100% for sale and about getting big government entities into his families and friends private sector hands. He came really close to dismantling public schools with his brother's testing company and his friends' charter schools. Heck, his gf, Big Sugar tits, rigged the election for his brother.

If it comes down to Trump or Hilary, I hate Trump but I have to say he would get my vote; I can't say that about any of the other GOP candidates.

Isn't Jeb's old lady a mexican? If that's the case he is going to be way soft on the illegals....that right there is reason enough to not vote for him.

We need someone a little more tough on the illegals......like Trump.
