Won't matter. He's a pathological liar (or, if not that, a pathological exaggerator), and it hasn't hurt his numbers yet. He's right, his base is so fanatically loyal he could shoot someone and his numbers wouldn't change.

If the person he shoots is Kanye, he might get the voters from the Dem side to come his way too.

So he was for the war before he was against the war? But it's ok, because when he was for it, it was just the first time he was asked. When he was against it later, he was REALLY against. Wow, what stupid answers (that he just kept repeating). I excepted him to be smoother than that.

If you click on the link above you can hear it for yourself. If that's not an option here's something he wrote in 2000 that reads like a well thought out polito-speak bullshit talking point to me. YMMV.

“We still don’t know what Iraq is up to or whether it has the material to build nuclear weapons. I’m no warmonger,” Trump wrote. “But the fact is, if we decide a strike against Iraq is necessary, it is madness not to carry the mission to its conclusion. When we don’t, we have the worst of all worlds: Iraq remains a threat, and now has more incentive than ever to attack us.”

    Cheers

Trump is always right. I mean, when has he been wrong. He's a man of great humility and dignity. He gets my vote.

"I’m the only one on this stage that said, 'Do not go into Iraq. Do not attack Iraq.' Nobody else on this stage said that," Trump said. "And I said it loud and strong. And I was in the private sector. I wasn’t a politician, fortunately. But I said it, and I said it loud and clear, 'You’ll destabilize the Middle East.' That’s exactly what happened."

I find it hilarious that people are piling onto a throwaway answer to a throwaway question. Mere days after shock and awe began & the war was at its most popular Trump denounced it as a mistake. This won't hurt him at all.

What might actually hurt him and what anti-Trump people should expose is his praise for Howard Stern & Michael Jackson. You can make actual political hay out of those stances from a republican electorate standpoint.
