I was reading something the other day that said that even if a supporter or voter files a lawsuit that most likely no judge will look into it. That it would likely only be looked into if a state choose to keep him off a ballet and he challenged it in court, or if someone could show they could be directly harmed by his running for office.

once the "paper work" ball starts rolling can it be ignored or tabled?..I've been in a couple lawsuits, one took years but it did get resolved.
I recall the supreme court got involved in gore bush so it's not impossible.

I don't know, it said something about separation of powers...also said Obama and McCain were both sued in similar ways but no judge took on the case. I'll try to find the article.

Alex P. Keaton couldn't be President as he was born in Africa even though both his parents were US born citizens

    Ted's out based on this

I think Cruz should be looked at, just like Obama should have been, although for completely different reasons. Cruz, for the obvious reasons. As for Obama, I've never bought the idea that he wasn't born in Hawaii. There's pretty decent evidence, though suspect, that he was. My issue is his family moving to Kenya. I've seen enough that makes me believe that Obama's momma', Stanley Ann, renounced her U.S. Citizenship. I understand that if you do that, and the other parent isn't a U.S. Citizen, the children also renounce their citizenship. Plus, there's the issue of the millions of dollars spent keeping Obama's college records sealed. I feel confident in saying that he got into college as a "foreign-born student." Can you imagine if this ever got out? What a constitutional crisis!

It's a little different. Cruz was 100% born in another country.

Technically a judge took the case. But it was taken long enough to dismiss it.

I could be remembering the details incorrectly. however I think they were dismissed because the people who filed them did not have standing to bring a lawsuit.

and u dont think the bush admin, R congress, hillary, mccain, and romney looked into it?

    cruz is fine.
thats why its better for trump if ppl have doubt, rather than have it resolved and remove all doubt.

That makes sense. I'm not going to pretend to know all of what I'm talking about but based on the article I read it sounds like to have standing you have to show some harm. And a supporter or voter filing a suit can't really show harm cause they can just vote for someone else.
