Not in hundreds of years has this been the case.

Thus his new name is hereby Genghis Con.

*does not apply to "declare victory and get out" situations.

Politics is a zero-sum game. It differs from business in that regard.

You don't think countries that win wars benefit from it?

Yea, now we pay out billions to rebuild countries after we defeat them.

What a crazy concept to actually get something out of winning a war

Trump is pretty tough. Not Haku/Meng tough, but tough. King of the Ring candidate for sure. Probably a Slammy award. Hillary is a jobber skunk.

Trump should have thanked the veterans who went to Vietnam in his place when he took those deferments

Please tell me what we took. Do you understand the notion of a war of conquest?

Our economy benefited tremendously from it and our currency. You do realize the end of the war was when the dollar replaced the pound as the reserve currency correct? This was when we became the global power. We took Okinawa and half of Germany and built a wall around it for the next 45 years and I assume we took some nazi gold we never told anyone about.

As per our recent conflicts, oil is the only reason we even care what goes on over in that region. The Bush administration told the military to protect the oil fields in Iraq as one of their objectives.

We let Europe slaughter each other for years as they emptied their coffers into America through lend/lease programs, and then emerged from the war as the world's largest super power.
