1 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1tbsp corn syrup, 1/4 cup water. bring all this to a boil under medium heat. keep heating stirring constantly until mixture becomes a toffee color (300F if you have a thermometer). pour it on a sheet pan covered in aluminum foil and let cool for a minute or two. pour a whole bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips on top and spread evenly. once chips are melted spread like icing on a cake. let cool completely and enjoy.
