Looks like another interview with someone associated with the Mindy Project, meaning Howard has some personal/marble connection with that show. Howard griping about businesses asking for charitable donations during his ad for GNC.. Apparently he's doesn't know how to say "no, thank you" or consider he's been crying for donations for two years. An hour and a half with Neil Young. And the most revealing, they have 16+ cats at the place "out East". That cunt is making him pay for no kids. All in!!!!!!

    Jam packed I tell you.

The Mindy Project is failing fairly awfully, so much for power of Stern.

Thank you BethSucks for your service to this forum.

I dumped my sirius account, so I can't listen anymore. Looking at the show recap, it doesn't look like I need it back...heh.

I dumped mine a couple years ago too, my wife still has it in her car but it's a "mostly music" account, no Stern.

At any point in his pre-Sirius career do you think Howard envisioned his life nearing retirement would revolve around cats and art projects?

Howard actually said "And see Ike Barinholtz on something..called the...Mindy Project"

You can't remember two weeks ago when the person the show is named after was on your show? Or you just don't care enough?

Looks like Neil Young wasn't aware of America's Judge, this must have made Howard cringe:

    MarksFriggin:
Howard said he was playing ''Old Man'' on his guitar at America's Got Talent and he was hoping that Neil would hear it. Neil asked what he was doing on America's Got Talent. Howard said he's a judge. Neil laughed.

That's classic - I'm surprised Neil wasn't aware of Stern's work as America's judge, since he's in his late 60s and that seems to be the age group that watches AGT.

...he asked him twice 'what were you doing on americas got talent' even after howard answered him the first time which neil clearly heard him the first time. to exemplify the point he asked again.

Nice. Just imagine his breakdown at the shrinks office, "That motherfuckin' Don made me look like a D-lister, an amateur in front of Neil! What the fuck am I paying him for?!"

That is hilarious! I missed the show this morning...listening to it hasn't been a priority to me in a few years, so I missed this. I will have to listen to it on replay. Neil was probably laughing at him inside...knowing this guy is a "judge" of jugglers and street magicians. I also do not think getting Neil in studio was a "huge" deal...Fallon has had him on many, many times....so getting him today wasn't a big deal. Nice job Howie...hoping Neil would give you some kind of "props" for being a judge on AGT....another embarrassment for Stern.

You're right...getting Neil Young on the show not that big a deal. He's been on Fallon and does some other stuff occasionally... would have been a bigger deal to have him on in the late 80's or early 90's. Did he even ask him any interesting questions at all? One of the most interesting things I read about Young was the fact that many years ago he decided to raise buffalo since their numbers were dwindling and now he has one of the largest herds in the United States. Kevin Costner used Young's buffaloes in the movie "Dances With Wolves". Now if he can score an in studio interview with Bob Dylan or Joni Mitchell, then I'll be impressed.
