    I was really intrigued with Gary's conversation about fans and being recognized on the street. Thought it was good radio.

    Anyway, how would you react if you saw Stern on the street?

    I saw Howard and Beff at Artie's Beerleague premier. They were on the red carpet. I happened to be walking by. They looked like gigantors towering over everyone, there was a small group of MFB and Bobo types with signs, but pretty much, it was a non-event.

    In the 90s I may have freaked out at a Stern sighting, but it was 2006 or something...I couldn't care less.

    I saw a video not long ago of one of Howard's book signing when he was on top of the world. It was insane, the amount of people and rabid fans :jj:

    If you're not a celebrity or a wealthy neighbor of mine don't talk to me. Say hello if you must, but don't talk to me. What could we possibly have to talk about?

    He was totally dismissive of the idea of ever dealing with anyone who isn't one of the above. You gotta read between the lines.

    I think I would give him a bill for my frickin' in home BS Sirius receivers that I had to run lines through my hall & out the southern facing window just to get a signal, and that frickin' piece of shit Stiletto that I bought for the 'revolution' :rolleye:
