Turning a new leaf

    Hi all -
    I've decided to turn a new leaf in my life. I'm tired of: 1) falling asleep on the futon too early, 2) waking up in the middle of the night, can't go back to sleep, so 3) I have a drink ... or two .... or three 4)then I binge because f*-it-who-cares 5)scale goes up, scale goes down, scale goes up, down .... ENOUGH!

    I'm changing. My question is: have any of you out there made a change? How did you do it? I'm just kind of worried because - I've said I'm going to change before. Know what I mean? ...

    Number one, I've got to stop falling asleep on the futon too early. Going to get my sleep schedule regimented.

    Number two, it's ENOUGH with the drinking every day. No more.

    Agree. Dieting is bullshit..eat sensibly..that is all.

    Start pleasuring men in bathroom stalls of cheap bars. That should tucker you out & get a good night's sleep and get some free drinks out of it too.

    Mix in some exercise. This will allow your body to tire easier, making for a better nights sleep. Any questions regarding exercising let me know. :hat:

    Nope, no binging - ate okay, fell asleep on the futon too early (d'oh!) but went back to sleep w/one of those anti-motion-sickness pills rather than 2 glasses of wine. Woke up all right.

    I forget what I had to eat but it was okay. Day 2 down! :yay:

    Oh yes, I love to exercise. Okay well maybe not LOVE but I'm pretty consistent. :hat:

    I do cleansing periods where I dont drink, eat crap and exercise more than usual for months.....I'm in one now

    I start off with a lot of yoga the first few weeks....I usually forget how important it is. But once I go back to it, it becomes clear how balanced it keeps the mind/body/soul IMO

    Think long term, don't make drastic changes and expect them to stick...lifestyle changes are gradual
