    CNN: Breaking

U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is expected to announce Friday afternoon that the Pentagon is enhancing the nation's ability to defend itself from a nuclear missile attack by North Korea, a U.S. Defense official told CNN.

Hagel will announce that the U.S. will be deploying up to 14 additional ground-based interceptors on the West Coast, according to the official.

Some of those will come from reopening a missile field in Fort Greely, Alaska, and others will be based in California, the official said. It will take up to two years for all of them to come on line, the official said, and will cost more than $200 million.

It will take longer than that for NK to develop a delivery system

Can you imagine if they fire a nuke that drops in the ocean? An invitation to obliterate them with the world's blessing

October 2011 someone shot a sub-based missile into the air about 35 miles off of the California coast. NORAD said it wasn't us.

Then they said it was just a weird contrail. Problem was, CBS was doing a weather report and it made it onto Youtube before it got scrubbed by whatever alphabet soup agency in DC scrubs such things.

could have been China; could have been N. Korea; could have been Russia.

They already have the delivery system capability (although unreliable), thankfully they don't have the targeting ability. It's doubtful they can hit planet earth with anything at this point.

Worse news is that the Dutch national baseball team beat the Padres 9-3. Things not shaping up for San Diego this year...:(

    Truth...

A nuke, or a "dirty bomb" will probably steam in to NY way before they can hit is with a missile.
