I like some U2. Even when I didn't give a crap, I knew they set records.

Howard didn't. But, he thinks Van Halen is 2012. :snicker:

I don't hate Van Halen's new song, but good god what a horrible video. Why put out a video like that? It looks cheap. And why the fuck do they allow a fat chick in it? Who the fuck is that FAT broad? And speaking of FAT, Wolfie really needs to join his mama at Weight Watchers. That boy looks morbidly obese and I doubt he's even 20 years old.

With Howard being so up to date on what's fresh and new, I'm sure that as a judge on AGT, he will find the next Perry Como.

Tattoo was the worst song on their new album. The rest of it is pretty good.

    Wolf doesn't fit in
    Dave's hair looks bizarre

They got old and rich and the song is no better then the worst song on Diver Down

Too bad.. they were once the coolest band on earth.. but then again that was a million years ago

To me, the funniest thing is that VH turned down the show. Stern thought he owned Roth for years when DLR was down and out, not to mention how smug Howchie was when Roth failed at radio.

Poor Howard's never going to be the rock star he wanted to be, yet VH can sell out venues from their wheelchairs in a heartbeat. Oh well. Howchie still has AGT, Maryanne, Bobo and some 17 year old Latino's back in Los Angeles. Not bad for a 30 year career.

Howard had never heard of SXSW until he was plopped into the heart of it for AGT...that should be all you need to know in relation to Howard's opinion about relevant music. Doesn't Howard read Rolling Stone?? They write about SXSW constantly.

wow that is unwatchable. They should have made a video with pretty girls showing their tattoos.. or whatever this song is about. The sound is obsolete too, so 80s.

Did you guys ever read those books? I forget whose autobiography it was (I think Sammy hagar). Those guys are just drunk/on drugs all of the time.

PS Remember when Howard was bothering David Lee Roth, encouraging everybody to call him David Weave Roth?

Howard loves not to know. Plus his taste in music got stuck around the mid-90's

I think Howard is still taking credit for Sugar Ray's success, I mean he played their version of "Psychedelic Bee," and next thing you know, they were stars.
