At the end of the day, he is still a giant douche that makes really lame adult rock/soccer mom music.

Dodges taxes his entire career, yet demands middle class earnings be redirected to support his African charities. He and Howard have being a hypocritical dick in common.

U2's Bono becomes world's richest pop star after investment in Facebook earns him over $1billion

U2’s Bono has become the world’s richest pop star after raking in nearly £1 billion from his Facebook shares. The Beautiful Day hitmaker bought a 2.3 per cent share in the social media network for £56 million in 2009 with the investment group that he co-founded, Elevation Partners. Today that share is worth a whopping £940 million, according to reports. That means that Bono’s venture has earned him more in the last six years than the whole of his incredible music career.

War, The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are great records.

Good for him. My grandmother was Irish so anytime a mick gets ahead I gotta raise my glass.

I wish @xavier was around to help me fight the U2 fight. OK, so the Apple Album sucks. So did the one before that. But most everything else from 1980-2004 is ok to good to great.

U2 music sucks. I remember hearing a story once Bono left his favourite hat somewhere, so he had it flown first class to where he was staying in a different county.

Bono is a giant douche but I'm a huge U2 fan. I consider War, Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, and Pop as classics, all the rest have at least a couple great songs.

When some pawn at work rips through their 89 slide PowerPoint deck in a matter of minutes I refer to it as ZooTV. Not many of the nerds get it.
