    I'm about to throw some boneless/skinless chicken breast on the grill.

    This is just one of those "sear" foods, isn't it? Just give it a light cooking. Pink on the inside is good, right?

    Low flame and cook long time. Sprinkle some Mrs. Dash on it for seasoning if you want. Takes a lot longer to cook than a burger.

    Sear the damn thing maybe 5-6 minutes per side (assuming the breast is around 1" thick) usually gets me pretty to to 160 degrees in the thick section.

    If I put the chicken right on the part where the propane flame comes out of, will that make it cook faster?

    Give it a shot but it don't cook like beef and will probably be raw in the middle.

    Yes, food does cook quicker under a flame as opposed to leaving it in the freezer.

    add a squeeze of lemon if you're into that.

    really light cooking but make sure there is no blood inside the meat before you take it off the heat
