Ok, I read the book and didn't really think it was fantastic. Typical disappointing Stephen King ending for me. But I heard they adapted it for TV and Spielberg was producing it so I figured I'd give it a shot. So I watched the first episode on InDemand today. Then I go to the channel guide to see what time tonight's episode is on. Long story short, it's on every Monday instead of on consecutive nights like a proper mini series. Fuck you, CBS. I'm not tuning in over 13 weeks to see this. Instead I'll just lay in bed and read NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, who is Stephen King's son. He's a really good writer who just sold the movie rights to his great comic series Locke and Key.
Slow your roll homie. Lock and key had a pilot developed. They couldn't nail the tone down and the budget was huge. I'm talking Rome on hbo huge. So a lock and key movie is nowhere guaranteed.
Check the latest news, homie. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/21/universal-announces-movie-for-locke-and-key-comic [h=1]Locke and Key Comic Gets a Movie[/h][h=2]Welcome to Lovecraft, moviegoers![/h] by Joshua Yehl JUNE 21, 2013 The acclaimed horror-fantasy comic book series Locke and Key by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez has been picked up by Universal to develop as a feature film.
I missed it, but have it book marked to read! Thanks for the heads up! http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1gqzn2/i_am_stephen_king_novelist_executive_producer_on/
