Who do you want your team to sign?

I would like to see Tampa Bay go after Mario Williams, I think he will give the Bucs more flexibility in the draft and I think he will be better being used as a 4-3 DE.

Safety to pair with Glover Quinn. A young and cheap guy who can make plays in the box. Glover can roam and make plays in the passing game with the best of them. I want a guy that can tackle. George Iloka is a name I keep hearing. WR if Calvin retires. If he doesn't, find a sensible one in the draft. LT - the Lions had arguably the worst tackle play in the NFL. I'm talking both sides. If they can get a good LT I'm fairly confident their current LT can slide to the right and be fine.

I guess that's it. But don't break the bank on anyone.

I once cared about all the players and who goes where, then one day it hit me- it sort of doesn't matter outside of quarterback.

as a jets fan I still watch some games but there's no hope to actually win the super bowl in the next 5 years. Doesn't matter who they sign.

Speaking of the draft, he's not the size of Calvin Johnson but I love this kid. It would be a luxury pick for the Bucs but, I would love to have this kid in Tampa for the next 10 years.

Hey man, yeah I do like him. But like you said he doesn't replace Calvin's skillset. There isn't another Calvin Johnson in the draft. I realize that. Hell, you could go the next 20 drafts and perhaps not find a WR that is 6'5" 240 with 4.3 speed and a 43 inch vertical that can run any route. But the Lions already have catch and run elusive guys in Tate and Riddick. I'm not sure Stafford can be accurate enough to consistently hit guys down the field that don't have a huge frame.

The best case scenario for them is Calvin sticks around and they can find a 6'2"+ guy to groom in the second/third round.

    You shouldn't want him; he's a goldbricker.

You could say that for 20 other teams in the league.

One of the following teams will win the Super Bowl next season:

    Pats, Steelers, Ravens, Broncos

    Packers, Panthers, Seahawks

The rest of the teams don't even need to bother playing.

You wanna throw in the Saints (because of their QB) and the Cardinals (because of everything except their QB)? Go ahead.

The rest of the league will just be jockeying for the 3-6 seeds, with the teams that make it in bowing out in the wild-card or divisional rounds.

I'm excited to see what new GM Bob Quinn will do for the Lions. Lots of cap space to play with.

Does Tampa have enough money to throw at Olivier Vernon? He would be great for your team. I'd like to see him go to Jacksonville or Tampa, DEFINITELY not a division rival.

They are 50 million under the cap. But Vernon was tagged a couple days ago. Tampa needs to sign legit pass rusher to have more options in the draft.

I didn't see a lot of that last year....

To quote the great Jim Mandich: "This team stands for nothing"

transition tagged. The same tag they put on Charles Clay who now plays for the Bills.

Just need to get past that $12.7/yr # and the Dolphins won't match. They pretty much said thats what Vernon is worth, and they are sticking to their guns.

    Bye Bye, OV.

I'm not sure if Licht(GM) will spend like that in FA. He's probably still gun-shy because of all the money he threw away to Michael Johnson and Anthony Collins. I hope so if for no other reason we won't have to reach for need in the draft.

I sure wish he would be there at #9, but there's no chance.

Also I like Janoris Jankins if the Rams let him go.

No one sticks out to me I'd rather have my team wait and have guys to fill roles after the draft and not overspend on guys who were just released.

Ravens fan here we need WE,TE,DE,CB,S and to get a ton of people back healthy

Even though the Steelers traditionally avoid major moves in Free Agency, this should be the year they break that trend. I'd like to see them sign a veteran DB and then draft a few in May. They need all the help they can get in the defensive backfield and considering 2016 may be their last, best shot with Big Ben, I'd love to see them pull the trigger and make a move!
