he is easily 4ft long btw..don't say smash his head bc I won't...
It's just a corn snake, not dangerous at all. I would carefully try to get it unstuck, maybe using some oil (vegetable or olive, NOT motor) with a q-tip or gently pour it between him and the glue as you carefully peel him off.
I know a lot of people probably wouldn't go that far to help it, but I would.
That's why I hate glue traps, makes the animal(s) suffer. I know they're usually made for insects, but inevitably other animals get in there.
Throw it in the garbage, what's so hard about that?
Make a cool belt
Leave it in your car to deter theft
Teach it to dance to a pungi and entertain at parties
See if it can open a door
@dawgshed Get the glue trap off and set it free they eat rats.
Hang it near the door as a warning to future interlopers.
You and the snake are brothers just trying to get rid of mice. Help that brother out, get that thing off his head and if you can't do it take him someplace that can.
Snakes are awesome, you can be too.
And stop using glue traps they're horrible.
They are delicious in the crock pot.
Other than kill it, nothing to add except Gluee Louee is a great name.
Dem's good eatten!
Throw it into the neighbor's yard
Poor guy. He was probably trying to eat a mouse stuck to the glue board.
Sounds weird, but I'd put him in a pillowcase and put him in the fridge for two hours. That'll slow him down and you can work that glue board off of his head while he's still in cold weather mode.
I found a snake in my garage about a year ago....ISIS would be proud of me
Call the fire dept. They know what to do. If they can get a cat out of a tree, they can save a snake.
CALL BETH STERN!!!!!
Sounds like someone is being fucked with clandestinely.
If you have a local animal control or zoo call them, they'll take care of it.
If you can somehow scoop him into a plastic container, there might be an animal rescue org in your area (I've taken birds attacked by squirrels to the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley).
Ditto on what others said about those glue traps: they are great for catching rodents, but they also catch anything else that wanders into their grip. I stopped using them because of that.
Write horrible messages all over it with a Sharpie, take photos and post them on her Facebook wall. She'll never do it again.
