    By mistake!?

U.S.-Backed ‘Moderate’ Rebels Behead a Child Near Aleppo

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...derate-rebels-behead-a-child-near-aleppo.html

It’s the kind of stomach-wrenching brutality you’d associate with ISIS. Except this time, it’s American-armed rebels who are cutting off a boy’s head.
Members of an American-backed rebel group in Syria beheaded a young child in a grisly execution video.

The footage surfaced early Tuesday of members of Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki and a captured child in Handarat, near Aleppo. The young boy, who appears to be prepubescent, is then executed on the back of a pickup truck.

The gruesome videotaped murder of a child drew outrage on social media and the promise of an inquiry from the group’s leadership, which has previously received U.S.-made weapons and American funding. The group no longer gets such backing. But it’s also renewed questions about which rebels the American government has supported in Syria’s ongoing civil war.

“Even if they no longer get U.S. aid, it still shows the moral pitfalls of what we’re trying to do in Syria,” Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, a terrorism expert and senior fellow with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told The Daily Beast.

There are two clips from the unsavory events. One shows five militants surrounding the boy. In the second, one of them stands over him on the truck and cuts the boy’s head off with a dull knife, raising it over his head.

the sooner we exit and let that region eat itself alive the better off the world will be.

allow that part of the world to do a purge on itself and when there is one group remaining the west goes in and clears them out.

we are spending an awful lot of time and money on a problem that will cure itself if we just let it.

Fuck these people. Our choices with this part of the world is always three crappy ones:

Invade it Ourselves. Costs too much and doesn't solve anything.

Arm The Rebels. Which either results in shit like this and/or the rebels start firing on us sooner or later.

Do Nothing. Then everything gets worse, refugees get out by the millions, wanting to come here, and terrorists come out of that group wanting to fuck up civilization.

Doing nothing would help rather than hurt the refugee problem. They're fleeing Syria because we've kept their civil war going for years.

Assad is as moderate as a Middle Eastern leader gets, but he had the gall to deny an OPEC pipeline, so we invaded by proxy.

For a parallel, we did do nothing after getting rid of Ghaddafi, and that made things terrible.

That's because we should have left him alone on the first place.

In WW2 we were sure we were the good guys, 98% of modern views worldwide agree with that.

Yet we rounded up all the Japanese people inside our border and dropped a nuclear bomb. Those things are considered "monstrous" by modern morality but maybe we need to rethink our morals.

Rounding people up would be pretty hardcore but I don't think it's that crazy to nuke someone. Wouldn't end terrorism, might make it worse, but at least we would be fighting back.

Nuking the entire middle east and turning it into a glass is another option.

Sure Israel would be a casualty, but fuck em, the only middle eastern country with no oil is our only ally, what do we need them for?

Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan , Pakistan and fuck it hit Egypt too. What would we really lose?

We could also tell them no hosting World Cups until the region has its shit together. If the Qataris want to blow billions on something, they should try cleaning up their own trashy neighborhood first.

Well, if we're going to defeat ISIS, we will have to put a lot of troops in the region.

If Trump is elected, by this time next year, we could be watching US service people being beheaded.

That's could be true, any troops on the ground would have to coincide with a massive effort from other NATO nations, I think that would be the push.

I'm a realistic person. I know we are in perpetual war.
