hahhahahah I'm a HUGE NBA head my whole life and this guy is one of the first obscure names I latched onto when he was on Atl. I don't know if you remember but TBS used to show Hawks games back in the day and D-Round was their starting PF back then in the early 80s. He actually had 3 all star bids and 4 double double seasons and missed a 5th by decimals.

Actually I was DEVASTATED by the deaths of Wayman Tisdale and Armon Gilliam. Gilliam was partially part of the origin of my nickname "ARM". It stands for ALL REBOUNDS are MINE! It seems like only obscure power forwards are dropping.

Yes, I managed to scrouge up the cash for one of those 8 game season ticket packages for the Hawks back then I was so into it. Never a really great team, but fun to watch someone play excellent fundamentals. Roundfield actually lived in my home town till his death and at one point a few blocks from a house I rented. You'd see him folded into a 911 from time to time. Shot-blocker extrordiaire. He was a lot better than most know and I'm sure playing in crummy smaller market BB towns had a lot to do with that.
