Discussion in 'The Howard Stern Show' started by EatAtTheY, Feb 5, 2012.
The only good thing about Van Halen these days is
I'm pretty ambivalent toward the new album, but I'm looking forward to the special.
Dave was always great on the show.
Does anyone here plan on going to see them live? I can't get one single buddy of mine to go and they're born and raised on VH.
I'd totally go if I still lived in the States.
I saw them in 2007 and they were great.
I also had the pleasure of being "the guy who killed the keg", much to the annoyance of the 20 people in line behind me.
Why are they airing this at 2:00 PM? I'd much rather hear the Shuffle. Why don't they save stuff like this for Thursday & Friday when Howard's not on and there's nothing else to listen to? Tim is a complete moron.
Its probably on Tuesday in the afternoon because the new album comes out that same day. I haven't listened to 101 since the Jay Thomas show on Friday but I assume that the special will be just like the shuffle but featuring clips of VH or Roth on the HSS.
I think you're right, but the Shuffle is the only FUNNY thing left on the channels (besides Jay on Friday) so having Van Halen or any musical guest ruins it for me. At least I can switch to channel 104 at 3:00 like I usually do.
I bought to CD on Amazon and will have it tomorrow. I have made the decision without hearing the album that there is no way I will see them live without Michael Anthony.
