As many of you know, I was diagnosed with cancer in September. My cancer has a great prognosis, but it fucked me up in the head none the less. At age 30, I had never dealt with a family member having cancer. I got so obsessed I initially read every article, watched every movie and learned as much as I could about it. My family's been urging me to watch the Vice episode on cancer. I finally watched it tonight, amazing stuff.

Who are you referring to? Schmoopy? My cancer is a sarcoma, attached to the tendon in my hand. I go back for follow up scans in May.

Yes. Except for their fake global warming climate change shows, it's pretty good.

Good luck to you HG- a couple years back I developed a leiomyosarcoma (soft muscle cancer, also a deadly form of uterine cancer) on the back of my calf which was caught in time to cut out without the need for radiation or chemo. I hope your treatment goes as well as mine- nowdays there really is life after cancer.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but I'm glad that your outlook sounds good.

It made me angry when they said that research money had dried up and they had to start soliciting private donations.

That very same day I watched the episode I saw an article online about some rich jerk who left 7 billion dollars to a pet charity named after his schnauzer. I mean, I love dogs too but WTF?

Not really fishing for attention. This has been a large part of my life for the past six months. I've not posted much. Dawgs, much before the influx of SFN posters, was an outlet for me. Many people are affected by cancer, would love to hear people's reactions to this show.

The finale of the first season when they took the Harlem Globetrotters to North Korea was amazing.

Seeing more of how the North Koreans acted like is what made me question their involvement in the Sony hacking.

They are such controlled zombies that there is no way they could produce team of real hackers that can be allowed free access on the internet.
