I don't get the whole thing with fireworks show. Something always happens. We had a tough time with our hound/beagle howling and barking all night. Good morning all.

I agree...and then there are always the assholes down the street that let their kids set off fireworks. Fine...if you live in the country..but not in the suburbs.

:argh::grouch:It's not just 1 day a year. The little bastards start setting them off a week before the 4th, and New Year's Eve too.

    Now get off my lawn.

I know, I know, and you are right. It is more than one day though - it goes on all week and seems like months.:)

I agree. We have a park that's a block and a half from our house. We can sit right in our alley and see them perfectly.

They lit them at the college which was at the end of my street back in MA. It was more fun laughing at everyone stuck in the 90 min traffic jam getting out of there than the FW.

Did anyone see that crewman on Deadliest Catch that almost lost his hand from lighting fireworks, a few weeks back?

My house sits on a large hill. I can sit in my living room looking out a big picture window and see the display they set off about 8 miles away at the next ridgeline My beagle's farts serve as sound effects.
