Don't listen to current shows, but here's a bit of history from over 30 years ago--part of the JAM jingles collection.

Notice how it was Howard saying listen to "me and my friends"--the show was still finding its legs so to speak, and show staff were transitioning in and out.

Speaking of jingles wonder if JAM did the Sirius packages (they did the 70's on 7 and other music channels, but don't think they did 100 and 101 channels--don't think they'd sing stuff like "Douche 100", and I don't think Howard would want to pay the premium for top notch jingles--although the Howard 100 News Jingle sounds great, so it might be theirs).

Anyhow, the dawgshed crew made me aware of this place, so here I be.

    NO MORE...Snivelling Sycophants :)

Jon Wolfert, who owns JAM, has a good sense of humor and I'm positive his company would have no problem singing damn near anything. I think there are some gospel people with his Dallas-based singers who might balk, but I'm sure they could round up enough people to sing whatever a client wanted. I don't know who did the original "Howard 100" jingles and all that stuff.

When I was a little kid (40 years ago) I used to hear some weird song with the lyrics

    I get haucus
    in Seacaucus
    on a Saturday night
    because of you.

I've always thought it was somehow connected to Imus. But I've searched the interwebs looking for evidence of it and always come up empty.

    Does anyone recognize those lyrics?

Good find! Went on a bit too long though. Love Wiggys voice and read back in those days. And I love how Imus mentions Kevin M. (Pig Virus.)
