Anybody over at New York Magazine bother to research this? Howard hasn't done five mornings a week since early 2006. Nevertheless, Howard beats out everyone who's ever hosted a talk show as the greatest who has ever done it ...

    1.Howard Stern
Wilmer Valderrama bragged about deflowering Mandy Moore. Megyn Kelly discussed her husband's dick size. Billy Joel reminisced about doing heroin. For over 30 years, Howard Stern’s calling and gift has been getting his guests, many wildly famous, to talk freely about all the things they’d rather not talk about. Of course there’s sex—so much sex—but there’s also drugs and money, which, for most celebrities, are far more taboo, and marriage and work anxiety and family and vanity. If there’s one theme running through the thousands upon thousands of interviews Stern has conducted, it’s that he hates a phony. Sometimes that can be a limited, teenaged lens through which to view the world, but Stern’s bullshit detector is what his fans love most about him, and his own neuroses and discomfort more than balance out the self-righteousness. “In real life,”Stern says, “I barely know how to socialize,”and his forays into TV and movies have largely been busts. But when the on-air light goes on, five mornings a week these days on SiriusXM, he’s the best that ever was.

Sounds like they did as much research as Stern does for his show. Will a caller be prompted to just happen to bring this up on the next show?

I hate the current show as much as anyone but howard pre sirius is the greatest radio/tv show of all time. Every form of the tonight/late show was watered down mainstream overrated bullshit. Gary the retard alone has made me laugh more than carson, letterman, leno combined.

    Grupo Buchwaldo strikes again!

"See Apple Board of Directors? My client, Howard Stern, is a hard-working Everyman who carries his lunch pail to work 5-days a week, bringing entertainment to his 20-million loyal fans and listeners who wait on his every word! Plus, Vulture, a cutting edge, new media company, just named Mr. Stern the Number 1 interviewer of ALL TIME! A 5-year, $500 million dollar guaranteed contract is a small price to pay for such dedication!"

 for any :quote: new media :quote: company stupid enough to fall for Buchwaldo's prank...

Gotta laugh that "dick size" has to be brought up when it comes to Howard's legacy as an interviewer. The true beauty of a Howard interview was when he found a down on his luck celeb who was more than happy to dish it out.

That Rich Cronin interview beats anything Howard has done in a half decade.
