    Why or why not?

Me, I do. I wouldn't buy my finest China from the store, but I have absolutely no problem frequenting them for the every day items. I'm not about to pay target prices for shit like paper towels or toilet paper just because.

The wal mart corporate model doesn't bother me. They squeeze everything out of their vendors and I get to reap that reward through cheaper prices.

I do feel kinda bad for the employees not getting benefits. It isn't a fast food franchise where people shouldn't be expecting to make a living off of that salary... But it isn't corporate America either. Long story short, I take the joe roegan approach here.

Anyway, wal mart is a fatty yea for me. I still like target for stuff about which I care for its quality. When it's some everyday thing though, I'll be as cheap as possible

for toilet paper , tooth paste, mustard and shit they have good prices
if you buy shoes there then you're a bit strange
and they have little self checkout things
those are nice when you buy something embarrassing like bum ointment

Fuck yeah I go to Walmart. When I travel for trade shows in the USA, I tend to stay at Extended Stay type places because long ago I gave up on the "party while you're away from home" shit. I show up a day before the show... go to Walmart and buy some food, some plates/cutlery and shit like shampoo and toothpaste... then just leave it all behind when I go. Still come out way ahead and it's cool coming back to the room and cracking a beer and watching TV and relaxing.

At home I shop there for work - toilet paper, paint, paper towels, disposable plates/cutlery, light bulbs, floor cleaners, whatever. I don't get why people claim they never go to Walmart... we're buying the same bottle of Tide or Mr. Clean... I'm in and out like a mofo... I don't want to hang out at the stores, so who gives a shit if it's Walmart vs. some mall shop?

I have nothing against them, but their stores are like the old Kmarts: a gigantic mess of shit everywhere, poorly organized, with no one in sight to help except for the shelf stockers. To me, Target and similar stores have the same pricing but nicer conditions.

    I buy shoes at Walmart!

Dr. Scholls "gel" ones. They are my go-to for work. I buy 5 or 10 sets at a time and toss them out after a month when they turn to shit.

Haven't been there in at least 10 years, the one closest is, to put it mildly, a crowded shithole. Used to go to the Sams Club, but dropped them about 4 years ago when Costco opened up.

Not really near me, but I do stop in once in a while if there's one nearby. There really is quite the cross section of people there, interesting people watching.

I do go to Walmart occasionally.

They have a small RV area where I can get RV related stuff for way cheaper than Camping World.

However, the closest Walmart is a good drive away so, I mostly go to Target.

Yes. Because the apples are 95 cents a pound as opposed to County Markets $1.99 per pound apples.

Can't say I never shop there, but I generally avoid the place when given a choice. Their prices on stuff that I buy are no better than anywhere else. Most of my shopping takes place at Meijer and Costco.

It's a "fatty yea" for me, too  I LOVE my Walmart.
I hear a lot of people on here (and elsewhere) say this, but this just is NOT the case where I am. The closest Walmart to me is just a "regular" Walmart, and it's always clean and well-stocked, and the employees are very friendly and very helpful. We also have a few "super" Walmarts near us, and they are even nicer.
:yay:I buy these, too, for work. Love 'em.
