Howard was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal today:

Ad Blocking Is a Hot Topic for Marketing, Media Executives

    Here's the mention:
"Last month, Howard Stern encouraged listeners of his talk show to download ad-blocking software after bashing the ad clutter that exists online. On Tuesday, Interactive Advertising Bureau, a trade group that represents online ad sellers, is expected to host a panel that will address the economic fallout of ad-blocking on small publishers."

Howard also once encouraged listeners to sign up for Ashley Madison. So long as the wig gets his beak wet, he'll hawk anything.

Too bad no one has invented a way to block the clandestine ads for Starbucks that are embedded as Stern show content.
