They must be, or this would never happen... :dontknow:

Ohio Walmart Holds Food Drive For Its Own Employees

Activists have long criticized Walmart for failing to pay its employees living wages, and instead relying on the state to step in and pay for the healthcare and food of workers. In Canton, Ohio, another Walmart recently demonstrated this kind of corporate welfare by holding a food drive—for its own employees.

“Please donate food items so associates in need can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner,†reads a sign accompanied by several plastic bins.

And Sam Walton's daughter has kept up her life long mission of keeping open a $1,000,000,000 art museum open. How nobel of her.

 People that work for walmart are lazy. hmmmmmmmm.

That would mean all the employees working for big box stores are lazy. That's some mind set.

Maybe it's more about corporate greed and dismantling workers rights.

Walmart workers continue to demonstrate extraordinary bravery by striking all across the country, even though the company has demonstrated a habit of retaliating against staff’s attempts at collective organizing.

Stephen Gandel, a senior editor at Fortune, recently penned an op-ed in which he argued Walmart could afford to give its employees a 50 percent raise without negatively affecting shareholders.

glad you avoided the point to make yours, typical. my point was that anyone that thought wm retail was going to be a lucrative career was ill prepared for the responsibilities of adulthood..but you go ahead with your moronic simpleton corp greed mantra...

That's right, blame people who are out there working and forgive the corporations that are raping their work force. That mentality is killing our great nation.

Let's not forget to add all the useless degrees people have out there that they paid a small fortune to get.

I don't think that most people who are working retail for $8-$10 and hour had delusions of grandeur that they were going to become millionaires but there was a time not too long ago that if you did a good job and showed you have initiative you would be promoted and maybe start to make good money. It looks like those days are not going to happen again and people are getting fed up. I think that if you looked at a list of the best places to work a lot of those companies reward their employees but companies like Wal-Mart and others feel the low paying job IS the reward. Just my 2 cents.

nobody is forced to work at Wal-Mart. why the fuck do people willingly take jobs only to bitch and moan how it's not good enough. they knew what the wages were when they accepted the position. entitlement in this country is retarded.

wal mart pretty much destroyed the american manufacturing sector. why do they have to be such bottom feeders. at least give your employees something to look forward to.

i wil never set foot in a wal mart. everything about them makes me sick

I shop at Wal-Mart but they could've given out frozen turkeys to each and every one of their employees at that store instead of an embarrasing food drive. The food drive thing just looks bad IMO.

Jobs are scarce enough. This is a big corporation taking advantage of the job sector. If you don't like the job, fuck you. Be happy with the scraps we give you. Because you're not earning it.
