‘America’s Got Talent' ratings take a dive with Howard Stern debut
'Howard Stern is not, as NBC said at the start of the “Talent” episode, the King of All Media, and NBC made the mistake of buying into its own hype, making a serious misstep when it scheduled Stern’s “Talent” debut on Monday night.'
hallelujah and amen!
this link might not work...just go to washingtonpost.com and click entertainment...if you go to search, type in Howard Stern AGT ratings...the blog should come up then.
That sounds like work. I don't work Sundays.
Basically, to summarize, the show has taken a nose dive since Howard came aboard. They had higher ratings last year when they premiered.
What are you kidding me?!
Thanks. Good thing Stern is live tomorrow to spin, or most likely ignore any negative press.
Yeah but last year they premiered 2 weeks earlier
and not against proven powerhouse winners like DWTS finals week
and besides AGT ( does it ? ) was 2nd in the all important 18-49 demo
tho Stern claims they were #1
Not to worry when they're up against re-runs
they'll return to being #1 again like they were
I posted a screenshot of that article (assuming it's the same one) in this thread:
Good man. I didn't really feel like searching for it.
"Jon Hein is coming in to explain, Robin"
"They all want to see me fail Robin."
Glad to see he's not disappointing us.
So, to recap, this thread is a retread of another thread with a broken link?
Some of the comments are amusing
Thank you for that synopsis of a recap of the thread that was a re-thread. I 'think' I have it now. No wait. Let me read it again.
Isn't it amazing that over 10 million retards watch AGT?
