How come their 2015 is so much cooler than ours? Where are our flying cars?

They didn't factor in ebt cards, millions of illegal immigrants, and obamacare. Doesn't leave much for the flying car research funds.

We did just have a thread about hoverboards though.

We don't have any. On the other hand, they don't have the Internet or smartphones. They still use fax machines and are still ruled by the Japanese.

the "future" depictions are always way cooler. If we knew we'd still be driving shitty chevys 40 years from now, it would cause to many suicides

I see you are very conservative in donating to a website you've used for 3 years.

Satirical post, bub, if the size 6 font wasn't enough to clue your lunkhead in. I don't give a fuck about political orientation one way or the other, rather, it was a commentary on the fucks that are indeed given by denizens of the mass populous for this very website you so generously (*patpatpat*) give to.

Call me old fashioned, but when I grew up discussion forums were, ya know, free. There's websites I've used for 15-20 years that I wouldn't consider "donating" to either, and I'd wager you haven't broken off a chunk of cash to, say, a Google or YouTube. I know, I know, but you choose to, well I choose to not, that's the beauty of a fucking choice, numbnuts. To extract any sort of chest pumping ego and condescending derision from a choice and donation is the exact opposite of the benevolent traits and implied characteristics the very definition of a "donation" denotes. How much do you choose to give to, say, burn victims or child cancer research, sport? Selfish fuck, how dare you...

That being said, when SomerSky graciously gifted me a VIP a month or two ago, I was pretty shocked and delighted that I could edit a post beyond five minutes--and rest assured, when/if I break Dawg off the change from my couch cushions, it will be entirely based on my desire to have additional forum features and not a means to extract superiority to those who dare post on the internet without paying their toll, or a burning want to have Dawg notice my crayola-crafted thank you note and hang it on his fridge with a beaming glow of approval and a welled up tear of gratitude. If you're going to do things out of pure spirit, let them be just that and not a means to suck your own dick in the process. You really miss the point (hmmm, sounds like a pattern here) otherwise.
