when you hear over and over from different sources that Mike Myers is a massive cunt, you tend to believe it.

 

Yes, they made up yesterday after 23 yrs or so. Carvey and Director split from Myers after he stole the Dr Evil character.

(Carvey is playing closeby in Lancaster County, PA next week. Should be lots of hillbillies and he'll probably run into some Amish - Should be some good material for upcoming shows.)

 

Carvey's biggest goal should be to win Stuttering John's job at this point- it would be a real-life version of trying to weasel in on Hey Now Hank Kingsley's job on Larry Sanders (scratch that- he was trying to win Larry's job, I'm thinking of Kevin Nealon who tried to win Hank's job). What the bloody Hell's he been up to the last 10-15 years anyway?

Mike Myers could've been releasing movies every two years, a la Adam Sandler.

For some reason, he's wayyyyyyy too wrapped up in himself and the perfect script. I don't think he even gets his own jokes.

Unfortunately that SHREK character took him out of the game... kind of like Chris Tucker (RUSH HOUR movies). Still waiting on that Keith Moon biopic he was attached to for over a decade, probably too late now with his age.

 

She turned into Kristie Alley... or a chubby version of Fergie (Black Eyed Peas)... that plastic surgery racket is a helluva drug.

 

As a big fan of the Wayne's World/Austin Powers movies, this is the first time I've heard anything about Mike Myers stealing the Dr. Evil character idea from Dana Carvey... I always heard they had a falling out because Dana got tired of being the side kick or not getting enough attention, etc.
Either way, Dr. Evil is based on Lorne Michaels crossed with Blofeld (James Bond villain)
