jesus you couldnt rip off twin peaks much harder that this new M night shyamalan TV show called wayward pines coming up next year. let me get this straight a federal agent in a quirky northwest town with bizarre characters trying to figure out a mystery of disappearing agents etc...lol im sure ill watch it though
but they didnt have a trailer back then to confirm the BS lol and 'brought to life' by the master of "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit" film making
would be nice if some writers got some OG ideas of their own I really like true detective that shit was good. i just got 2 of the 3 books from which this new wayward pines show is based from so im gunna give them a shot but that 2 minute trailer has about 75 TP references in it alone lolz
i think the football coach was stuck in my head. either way, i agree with HOLIC. animated movies and remakes of original screenplays. they're talking about remaking National Lampoon Vacation movies. WITH CHEVY CHASE!
If you want to be really pissed off about what rip off Wayward Pines is, check out a New Zealand show called "This is Not my Life" (2010)... Same thing... takes place in the future in place that no one can get in or out of has a big wall around is that say "you will be killed" each person's life is monitored in their homes each person has a "tracker" that shows their location sound familiar?
Who's watching this? I am caught up and I have a question about what appears to be a significant plot flaw
I am watching it.. Actually just watched latest episode this morning .. It's ok but at this point I just wanna see how it ends. Only 3 more to go.
Spoiler It seems like Ethan is being fucked with about the date and the apocalypse. I mean how could Ethan be in WP, his wife and son in Seattle and Boise, then they get taken into WP with the time travel/suspended animation thing by the sheriff in present day?
