Is he serious? Way to stay in touch some people get one vacation a year if they are luck. He does three days a week for about three hours a day with zero show prep.

Ask John Hien about his work ethic.

Depends on what you consider a vacation. To me, a 4 day weekend is a vacation. Wiggy gets 52 vacations a year by my yardstick. (Not to mention the "long" vacations)

The show is not going to be on seven weeks straight, there was some reference in MarksFriggin that he had another week of taping for AGT mixed in there. Nemo posted some Long Island tapings in May so he's referring to a week where he has no show and no AGT as vacation.

I haven't had a vacation in seven years. If I had one every seven weeks, I'd be on easy street. Howard is very out of touch with his listeners.

He's out of touch with the people that USED to listen to him. The morons that still pay for that shit product deserve to be buggered by him.

When does he work? I suggest that he is effectively retired. He makes appearances on the radio, but that isn't work. Going to talent shows and commenting isn't work either. Howard just does paid appearances these days.

As an old friend of mine said "You can't drive a Mercedes and expect the people to buy the Fords on your car lot."

so you think it makes sense to compare yourself to Howard or any other person in the broadcast/entertainment industry when comparing vacation schedules? How about teachers?

The icing on the cake, he continually complains about his schedule.

Is Howard pulling an Andy Kaufman on us?

How could he possible think we want to hear that bullshit.

As many here have already said, if I got to leave work around 11:00am on Wednesday and I got out of town that afternoon and had a 4 day weekend, that would be a great vacation for me.

And he does this practically every week.

All while making an obscene amount of money.

This guy is embarrassingly out of touch with regular working Americans.

Saying he always did this is deceptive. It makes more sense to look at it by number of shows in a year , the last contract at WXRK required 210 shows, the first year at Sirius he did around 165, this latest contract requires 110. He has effectively doubled his time off since his days on traditional radio.
