Anyone ever try this? I made this yesterday. Weber smokey joe and a 32 qt pot. Did a test run today to get the temp adjusted and going to smoke a pork roast today.

If I was fucking poor and couldn't afford a bbq grill AND a smoker I'd probably try it.

That looks good! I've been wanting to get a 55 gal drum and cut a section out to use on my 22.5" weber to make it a smoker. Let us know how it works!

I'll make sure not to show off my $15 homemade air conditioner.

I was going to try it with my Jumbo Joe but it was too much of a pain in the add trying to find a small drum to use. This was cheap enough. Total cost of about $60.

That's what the pot is, a 32qt IMUSA steamer from Walmart.

2.5 hours in and the temp is holding steady at about 215.
