They deserve a raise, I say.
Bison burger?? I like that he got sauce on side.
That'll be great for his splotchiness.
If hes got an extra 60 bucks, spend it it on a tube of clearasil and a eye patch you sickly looking swamp creature.
$56 for 2 burgers to go? Nothing else? Fuck that!
yea fuck that... think the most i ever paid for a burger was 15 bucks...
and that was a damn good burger
He went to Bareburger. What did he expect? McDonalds? Bison is (1) really lean, low fat near-beef, (2) "organic" with no fillers, hormones or preservatives, and (3) Bareburger's is one of the biggest, ultra-trendy "micro-chains" in the country. Bareburger is like the king of the micro-breweries in the NYC area, except for burgers. $60 was probably the prix fixe restaurant week meal, plus he had more than one meal as you can see from the way he folded the receipt to make it look like he only ordered one of them, with maple syrup (not normally served with bison).
I don't think that tab was just burgers. It looks like the receipt is folded right under the second burger listing as there is writing you can see hidden and the top of the writing for the maple syrup is bent over. The mouse is holding the fold down.
Why the fuck would he fold it? What's he hiding?
Welcome to the trendy parts of Manhattan, where a salary between $99,999 and $199,999 annual almost qualifies you for food stamps.
although $20 for a big, quality burger with the extras could cost you $17 here, so $20-$25 for bison might not be unrealistic. The Bison have a good union, affiliated with the AFL-CIO: the dues are oppressive.
That made my eyes cross.
Looks like 4 burgers, even so that place is not that expensive.
Sure, sitting in a nice restaurant, but not a couple of burgers in a paper sack.
its the maple syrup that caused them to jack up the price. anyone who would ruin a burger with maple syrup deserves to pay more.
i got some guacamole and chips, and 3 soft chicken cilantro tacos today. came to $25.00 with the tax and $2.00 tip. I like their buffalo fried chicken sandwich better (same price).
the $10 BJ
Yeah but the receipt shows different. From their website the burger is $8.45 plus $2.50 for Bison. Then his lettuce tomato and onions are all free, expect for .55 mayo and 1.45 mayo. That burger was $13. His other barest burger couldn't have been $43. Most of the add ons are free. That $56 was not for just two burgers. He's hiding something.
That scrawny faeg. A plain bison burger is $11.00.
